The beauty of Bead Games as we view them is that no move is really an improper move. Especially when it is as thoughtful as yours.

It is indeed a pearl of ancient Eastern wisdon that continues to inspire even today. That we are nothing and everything at the same time. And, if our ego is in check, we will realize that it doesn't matter one way or the other anyway. Either is just a beautiful.

I have a suggestion on reading Hesse's Glass Bead Game. I was also intimidated. I attempted the book and didn't get too far, but I really wanted to read it. So I read every other book by Hesse that I could get my hands on to familiarize myself with his style. Then I read The Glass Bead Game with considerable understanding. Believe me, it's worth it.

Thanks for playing and I hope you will continue.
