The problem with structure vs. content as well as technological 'progress' atrophying its inventors, I believe, is that there is no 1 direction to follow. The end result of aspiring to ideals, any ideal, is destruction, degeneration and failure at a horrible cost.

It is doubtful that Descartes was a loving man. For all his calculations, he could not grapple even the most fundamental realities of life.
The Futurists turned fascist.
The Dadaists turned ridicuous.
The Abstract expressionists drank themselves to death.
The Post-Modern is suited to urban MPD cases.
Even a Utilitarian would like to see a few people suffer for some greater GOOD.
My best advice is to go hungry at the righteousness buffet. Believe what you like but never, ever,ever, take it seriously! Cheers everyone.
