I have never had any experience with the GBG. Even though I have not read the book, I really enjoyed other books by Herman Hesse, such as "Siddhartha" and "SteppenWolf". I have been interested in reading it, but I heard it was difficult reading and I am a little intimidated at the moment. Anyways, my thought to add to the game is just on the concept of existence. It has been the cause of a great deal of depression in my so called life and yet it is also the cause for rejoicing. Probably many of you have read the book "Tibetan Wisdom for the Western World". If not, I highly recommend it for its incredible teaching ability. I am of course a westerner brought up through the organized religion of Christianity. So when I left the faith and started seeking other reasons for the meaning of life, things became very depressing and upsetting for I felt lost. But as I was reading one day in the previously mentioned book, I came across a quote that temporarily opened my eyes to a new understanding of life. So here goes:

"Wisdom teaches me that I am nothing.
Love teaches me that I am everything.
Between the two, my life flows."

Not a totlally remarkable saying, but at the heart of its meaning, it is very powerful. For those of you who have not heard it before, I challenge you to look at the heart of its meaning even more and then respond.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I hope I have played the game properly.
