this is also the way with behaviour. for instance, a tutor that raps his student with a switch in 1694, results in a mass murderer filled with strange, foreign anger that he does not know the source for, when really the anger is passed down through the family, until it reaches a weak mind, and snaps.
again, i repeat, this concept is a dangerous, if not lengthy, weapon. a powerful leader can secure control over many generations of one family, even if the control last beyond his death. he can do this by simply murdering and torturing several members, thus letting the fear run through the whole familiy.
