With scientific advances in biology and molecular chemistry growing at an exponential pace there is little doubt that some who are alive today will be able to avoid all but abrupt accidental death. There is also a high probability that those who are born after them will find many, if not most, have become so set in their ways and wanting if not demanding the 'good old days' as to become unbearable. Will the result be an age war between the young and old? And when will a person have to switch sides due to mental aging? The war will certainly be interesting since all the young will know that they don't want to be too successful or an upper living age limit might be imposed. Also the old will probably have to hire some young people to fight for them. Perhaps the glass bead game will be the answer keeping older citizens sharp and interesting and young ones learning from playing it.
